2025 Paving Program

The 2025 Paving project is focused on two segments near the Alderwood Mall. Please see the map for these locations.

Construction activities will include:

• Full depth repair of pavement in selected areas and
• Grind and overlay of pavement in selected areas.

Improvements were made to curb ramps and pedestrian push buttons as part of the 2024 Ramps and Sidewalk project.

The 2025 project includes two segments:

• Alderwood Mall Parkway – from Alderwood Mall Boulevard to 184^th St SW
• 33^rd Ave W – from upcoming Poplar Bridge project to 184^th St SW

The City is mitigating traffic impacts during construction through traffic control plans and construction work hours. 

These segments are being constructed with local funds and two federal Pavement Preservation grants.
