South Lynnwood Neighborhood Plan

THE SOUTH LYNNWOOD NEIGBHORHOOD PLAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED

The South Lynnwood Neighborhood Plan establishes a vision generated by the communities in the South Lynnwood neighborhood. Supporting this vision are goals and policies which will guide South Lynnwood’s future. On December 13, 2021, the Lynnwood City Council unanimously adopted the South Lynnwood Neighborhood Plan through Ordinance No. 3405.

About South Lynnwood

South Lynnwood is a diverse residential and commercial neighborhood with 196th St. SW to the north, Highway 99 to the west, and I-5 and the shared boundary with Mountlake Terrace on the east and south. The 1.25 square mile neighborhood is within walking distance to the upcoming Lynnwood Link Light Rail (opening 2024), and is home to the Scriber Creek Corridor, South Lynnwood Park, wetlands, open space, and other natural areas.

Co-Design Committee

The Co-Design Committee is a co-creation process, facilitated by the consultant team BHC, with the community members and the City as equal participants. This committee is convening throughout to guide the plan's development. The Co-Design Committee will brainstorm, draw, and host neighborhood events to support the creation of the South Lynnwood Neighborhood Plan.
