Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County

Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

24/7 hotline for those in crisis or those concerned about a friend or loved one. Options available for Veterans, Deaf + Hard of Hearing, online chat and services in Spanish. Phone: 988 (call or text)

Washington Teen Link

Workforce Snohomish County

SnoCo Connect

Provides low-barrier, direct support for Snohomish County residents aged 14-24 with connections to education, career skills training, community and employment resources, and workshops. Phone: (425) 374-8351

 

Food

Lynnwood Food Bank

Families may come to the Food Bank every week to receive services which include canned and dry goods, meats, deli and dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, desserts, bread, and miscellaneous items. Drive-thru available. Phone: (425) 745-1635

Next Step Pregnancy

Helps those who are facing an unplanned pregnancy, offering free pregnancy testing and early diagnostic ultrasounds. Additional services include STI testing and treatment, reproductive loss grief care, and material goods for maternity, newborns and toddlers. All services and supplies are free of charge. Pioneer Human Services

Provides treatment, housing, job skills training and employment to individuals released from prison or jail, and those in recovery, in Washington state. Phone: (425) 434-4680

Volunteers of America Western Washington

Western Washington assists with food banks, rent and utility assistance, crisis counseling, mediation, and ECEAP preschool. Phone: (425) 259-3191

Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County

Homeownership program with income-based eligibility for first-time home buyers, and repair services designed to assist homeowners in remaining in their homes by making needed repairs, preserving exteriors, and/or installing a limited range of aging in place and accessibility improvements. Homage Senior and Disabled Services

Shelter

Everett Gospel Mission

145 emergency shelter beds for men and 100 beds for women and children. Phone: (425) 740-2500

YWCA Pathways for Women

45-day emergency shelter for single adult women and mothers with children. Clients have their own room and meet regularly with an advocate to develop and execute a Housing Stability Action Plan. Phone: (425) 774-9843

Cocoon House

Short-term shelter for young people between the ages of 12-17 located in Monroe, WA. Phone: (425) 877-5171

Drop-in center for 18-24 year old young adults in Everett, WA. Includes showers, laundry, Wi-fi, food, a recording studio and access to case management and support services. Phone: (425) 740-2945

ORCA LIFT Reduced Fares

Reduced transit fares for low-income households, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those on Medicare and other certain state benefit programs in King and Snohomish Counties. Individuals under 18 ride free with a youth ORCA card. Phone: (800) 756-5437

Utilities

City of Lynnwood Reduced Rates Program

Reduced rates and annual rebates to qualifying low-income households for the City’s water, sewer, and storm utilities. Paper copies of the application are available at Lynnwood City Hall and the Lynnwood Recreation Center during regular business hours. Phone: (425) 670-5170

Snohomish County Energy Assistance

The Energy Assistance Program provides a one-time per heating season assistance in paying the heat bill for eligible households. Additional utility assistance grants available. Phone: (425) 388-3880

Snohomish PUD Financial Assistance

Includes applications for grants such as Project PRIDE for local families, as well as special grant opportunities for financial assistance for low-income households. Phone: (425) 783-1000

Refugee and Immigrant Services

Northwest Immigrant Rights Project

Promotes justice by defending and advancing the rights of immigrants through direct legal services, systemic advocacy, and community education. Phone: (206) 587-4009

Provides an array of services including community education/social services, employment and ESL training, support for parents and schools, immigration and naturalization services, as well as interpretation and translation services. Provides an array of services and outreach for families with pets, including pet food/supplies, pet services navigation, microchipping, and foster pet boarding for families experiencing housing instability. Phone: (425) 419-8992
