2026 Paving & ADA Program

The 2026 Paving and Meadowdale ADA project is several areas of paving as well as a focus on the Meadowdale area for pedestrian improvements. The pedestrian improvements on sites 1 and 2 are in preparation for expected paving in 2027; please see the map(PDF, 169KB)  for these locations.

Construction activities will include:

• Full depth repair of pavement in selected areas
• Grind and overlay of pavement in selected areas.
• Curb ramp installation and replacement
• Flashing crosswalk improvements
• Sidewalk installation, replacement, and preservation

The project includes these areas:

• Site 1 Meadowdale Area – paving, ramps, and sidewalks upgrades on 66^th Ave W from N Meadowdale Rd connecting to 168^th St SW until Olympic View Dr

• Site 2 188^th St SW – paving intersection with 36^th Ave W and ramp and sidewalk upgrades from 33rd Ave W to 44th Ave W
• Site 3 44^th Ave W & 164^th St SW – Ramp and sidewalk upgrades from 168^th St SW to Spruce Way

The City is mitigating traffic impacts during construction through traffic control plans and construction work hours. 

This project is being constructed with local funds and a Washington State Transportation Improvement Board Complete Streets Program grant.
