2026 Paving and Meadowdale ADA Sites Map

The 2026 Paving and Meadowdale ADA project is several areas of paving as well as a focus on the Meadowdale area for pedestrian improvements. The pedestrian improvements on sites 1 and 2 are in preparation for expected paving in 2027; please see the map(PDF, 169KB)  for these locations.

Construction activities will include:

  • Full depth repair of pavement in selected areas
  • Grind and overlay of pavement in selected areas.
  • Curb ramp installation and replacement
  • Flashing crosswalk improvements
  • Sidewalk installation, replacement, and preservation

The project includes these areas:

  • Site 1 Meadowdale Area – paving, ramps, and sidewalks upgrades on 66th Ave W from N Meadowdale Rd connecting to 168th St SW until Olympic View Dr
  • Site 2 188th St SW – paving intersection with 36th Ave W and ramp and sidewalk upgrades from 33rd Ave W to 44th Ave W
  • Site 3 44th Ave W & 164th St SW – Ramp and sidewalk upgrades from 168th St SW to Spruce Way

The City is mitigating traffic impacts during construction through traffic control plans and construction work hours. 

This project is being constructed with local funds and a Washington State Transportation Improvement Board Complete Streets Program grant.
